On Friday, July 13 (yes, Friday the 13th), a group of a dozen or so SYCers will be on their way to Kansas City, Missouri to attend the UCC's bi-annual General Synod. In case you're wondering, that means the national business meeting of the church that happens every other year. This group of Mainiacs will join youth from all over the country at Synod's "Big Jammin' Youth Event 2001". They'll be gone from the 13th thru the 18th and they'll put some info about their experiences in this space when they get back. Pray for some safe travellin'.
